Making A Purchase

Our site has been designed to make ordering flowers in the Castletroy Florists range as easy and convenient as possible. Simply select your choice of bouquet, click on the 'Add to Cart' button, and you are taken to a secure "PayPal" checkout. Fill in your details and leave the rest to us. Your beautifully presented flowers and gifts will be delivered to the areas listed (see below) the same working day if we receive your order by 1.00 p.m. 6 days a week! Please note that we do not deliver on Sundays or Bank Holidays - see General Delivery Policy for more information.

Substitutions Policy

Substitutions may be necessary to ensure your arrangement or gift is delivered in a timely manner. The utmost care and attention is given to your order to ensure that it is as similar as possible to the requested item.

Flowers

• In arrangements of assorted flowers, the colours shown on-line will be used if at all possible, even if this means substituting other kinds of flowers of equal or greater value.
• For one-of-a kind flower arrangements, such as roses or lilies, we make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another colour.
• If the floral container shown on-line is not available, a similar container will be used.

Plants

• For green and blooming plants, similar plants maybe substituted of equal or greater value.
• For one-of-a-kind plants, such as orchids, we will make every attempt to match the plant type, but may substitute with another colour.
• If the plant container shown on-line is not available, a similar container will be used.

Other Gifts

• Where a gift item shown on-line is temporarily unavailable we will substitute with a similar item of equal or greater value.

General Delivery Information for all orders

1. At Castletroy Florists we deliver to all addresses in Limerick City and within a 10 Kilometre radius of our shop for a cost of €5.00, which is automatically added to your PayPal cart.
2. All orders must be received before 1.00pm to ensure same day delivery. We do not deliver on Sundays or Bank Holidays.
3. Please be sure to provide the Full Address of the recipient by using the "Edit Address" feature under "Shipping Information" in your PayPal cart
4. If your gift is for any other than immediate delivery or there are any special delivery instructions you must provide details in the “Gift Card Text” box, along with the contents of your personal message, during the “PayPal” check-out procedure.
   (Please also use this comment box for any other special instructions e.g. detailed directions, particularly for country areas and/or if flowers can be left with a neighbour etc).
5. Please telephone us if a courier delivery is required beyond our immediate catchment area, as these can be arranged in individual circumstances.
6. We do not deliver to the United Kingdom, Europe or directly to the Republic of Ireland outside our customer catchment area.
7. As part of the PayPal check-out procedure we request your contact telephone number. We request this solely to ensure delivery or in the event of difficulties. As part of our Privacy Policy we undertake never to use this for un-solicited contact or promotional purposes.
8. Please enter the full address of the recipient during the "PayPal" check-out procedure. We will not be responsible for items that are not delivered due to incorrect details.
9. The only information sent with the gift is the personal message card, which you have provided. We don’t pass on any other details at all and don’t send out an invoice or receipt, just e-mail confirmations.
10. Should the recipient be away at the time of delivery, a card will be left stating attempted delivery and will include details of how to collect them or arrange re-delivery.
11. Flowers sent to hospitals, schools, business and military addresses will be delivered to the main reception or mailing room prior to internal distribution. We recommend that such orders be requested for delivery on a weekday and not Saturday

Credit Card Security

Castletroy Florists accept payment from all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, and Mastercard.

This site uses the PayPal system for online credit card transactions. PayPal is the most popular and recognised online payment system in Ireland and throughout the world. All payment information is transmitted in secure mode and is encrypted using the highest levels of online security encryption available. Firewalls within the PayPal system prevent any unauthorised access to your information. Credit card details are captured within the PayPal secure system, and no card details are stored on your computer or computers belonging to Castletroy Florists. When your order has been placed, you will receive an email from PayPal to confirm the payment has been successful.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We collect information given to us when you place an order. This information is used to process your order, contact you regarding the order if necessary and to provide you with the best possible service.

Castletroy Florists collect the information directly and do not disclose buyers information to third parties. All information is stored securely, collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

The personal message with the gifts is positioned so it cannot be read during transit.

As part of the PayPal checkout procedure we request your contact telephone number. This will be used solely to ensure delivery or in the event of difficulties. We will never use it for un-solicited contact or promotional purposes.

We will not use your details to contact you regarding future promotions and offers unless you opt-in to such marketing during the order process. Any email marketing we may send will include an unsubscribe option. We do not and will not sell our mailing list to third parties. Substitution Policy

In the unlikely event of supply difficulties, Castletroy Florists reserves the right to substitute any product with any other type of equal quality and value.

If you have cause for complaint this must be received within 7 days after despatch.

Our customer service phone line is personally operated between 9.30am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am to 12.30pm Saturday. An answer machine service is in operation at all other times. All calls are charged at the national rate. We aim to respond to customer service matters within one working day and resolve all complaints within three working days. Calls may be monitored for training purposes and to maintain our high level of quality service.

In accordance with the Distance Selling Directive (2000) you may also cancel your order at any time without reason, within 7 working days of delivery. Should you wish to cancel your order and receive a refund, you must confirm this in writing within 7 working days of receipt and return the packaged item to us at the address given above.

The item(s) must be returned to us unused and in as new condition. You will be liable for all postage costs incurred as a result of returning an item to us. We cannot issue a refund until we have received the goods. We recommend you obtain proof of posting when you return any goods to us.

Please note this policy excludes all our flower products as these are perishable goods and exempt from this legislation. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
